Positive Comments: Outstanding opening and overall structure and arrangement. The electronica is spot on. I do not listen to this type of music at all – but I love the fullness of the sound and haunting feeling. I don’t know if I should feel scared or bust out of my chair and go on a run. Interesting use of vocal, as well as the organ and “whistle” sound. Keep it up for sure.

Constructive Comments: The sound of the vocal seems a bit out of place to me. The “highs” seem a bit out of balance, and don’t blend like I think they could. At times, to build the drama, it might be interesting if more falls out of the texture. For instance, the church organ – what if the drums went more simple, and the rising falling fills exited. I would be interested to hear something like this with more dramatic rises and falls.

Positive Comments: What I like most about this song is the feel. I do like the arrangement – simple and easy. The feel of the song works very well with the “lost in a dream” feel – which is no small thing. I LOVE how the snare comes in at 1:48. So subtle and so appreciated. Just the right feel and the perfect build. The guitar and bass line, how they play in harmony on that little step up and down at the end of the verse lines is a very nice color.

Constructive Comments: There is a lot of nuance to your music. And I feel like it could be played up a bit more. The play between the guitar and bass, the snare coming in for instance. Don’t underestimate the power of such simple nuance – make them more noticeable. The vocal has way too much effect on it for my liking. In this Neil Young / Dylan type of vocal, I like to hear the real room sound. The acoustic guitar sounds thin. Guessing its mic’d direct? I would prefer just a simple mic and more authentic sound.

Positive Comments: This is totally not my genre of music – but I know enough to know this is exceptional. Top notch recording, extremely marketable, certainly for commercial use. A rather complex song structure, but it does not feel forced and feels natural. I guess, I can’t really say enough good about it. I really appreciate the hardwork and focus you’ve put into your craft. Keep it up. Don’t give up. Keep going.

Constructive Comments: I have nothing constructive to add – other than keep it up. I’m guessing you guys have a lot of different feels and songs out there, and I will check you out.

Positive Comments: Excellent, clean recording and arrangement. I get the sense this is a drummer at heart? I’m no drummer, but hear some great complexity. The C section/bridge, with the slide guitar is a highlight for me. It offers another great color to the song. Very marketable – I can imagine a lot of uses for this piece. What I really like is the simplicity in the arrangement. My biggest frustration is when I hear artists just trying to put in too much. This feels just right.

Constructive Comments: If I have one constructive comment – it would be in dynamics. The song has different colors and shades, but it’s pretty much all at one level. Not suggesting anything dramatic, but I think there would be room for subtle builds and regressions – to help make the returns to the A section feel more dramatic.

Constructive Comments: perhaps have less instrumentation overlapping at 56″.till 1′ 03″like the strings at 1’40″keep the first 2 bars and remove those extra notes at about 1’45 to 46″perhaps lower the guiro track a tad… Less in this song would be moreBut this song is a smooth and enjoyable listen
