Whatcha Gonna Do (instrumental version) by Nigel Barrett

Nigel Barrett

Song: Whatcha Gonna Do (instrumental version)

Reviewer: Aryz Kahlid

Positive Comments: Nice, crisp sound of an instrumental. Not a lot of this type of R&B nowadays, too many producers over do it and ruin their tracks.

Constructive Comments: Sounds good, nothing to fix

Positive Comments: Nice flow! went with the beat well, kept on track and stays on subject without veering off onto other irrelevant stuff. The producing was just about on point as well.

Constructive Comments: The only thing I’d say that needs work, which is always the hardest, is to get the vocal levels right. To me, the vocals and the unders sounded too high. I think if the vocals got turned down just a little, this song could be a good vibing hit.

Positive Comments: The beat was pretty dope.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics and the flow needs work. I think the quality of flow is something I’d find on an amateur site where people are just starting out. The artist has potential, but finding the right flow and the right genre is a must right now.

Hold The Mic Down – Tha Bishop featuring Phaze Seven & Daz Jones by Husky Records LLC

Song: Hold The Mic Down – Tha Bishop featuring Phaze Seven & Daz Jones

Reviewer: Aryz Kahlid

Positive Comments: Good gangsta song, not alot of that out today. I could see this artist reppin with G-Unit.

Constructive Comments: The vocals were kind of high pitched, maybe bad recording or needs a better mic…couldnt really tell. I think if the vocals were recorded with more bass sound instead of all treble, it could have done the song great wonders.

Constructive Comments: I love this track, rocking grinding guitar, drums right in the pocket, vocals just right, and the right length to boot… nice, really nice.

Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Broadjam Artist: Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods
Song: Send It In Down / Hip Hop Dance

Reviewer: Aryz Kahlid

Positive Comments: Clear quality sounding instrumental. It has a blues type feel, would be good for a story telling type rap.

Constructive Comments: A lot of producers nowadays do slower instrumentals, so it gets boring after a while and they start to sound the same. Good instrumental here, but Ive heard some like this before

Positive Comments: I really like this song, it sounds so peaceful and serene, I love the string instruments and the the drums and cymbals, very cool!

Constructive Comments: I think the song sounds great however, I wish the vocals were turned up because it’s very hard to hear it above the music – the female vocals do sound wonderful, just turn the vocals up and you will have an even better song – best wishes!

My Love’s out There by Junior Murrell

Junior Murrell

Broadjam Artist: Junior Murrell
Song: My Love’s out There

Reviewer: Kate Carpenter

Positive Comments: Tight band performance, loved the drum intro, and guitar & keyboard just added to it. Vocal performance is also tight and harmonies soar. Basic story seems to be a guy who messed up and wants to find the girl to show her he has changed and wants to start over. Good story line. The chorus is catchy and beautiful to listen to.

Constructive Comments: Bring the vocal up in the mix in the first verse, or be more clear in your vocal performance and enunciation. So hard to pick out all the lyrics in the beginning of the song. Intro is a bit long, but pretty. Did you sing your own harmonies?
