Positive Comments: Killer guitar riff, cool rockin blue tune.

Constructive Comments: Mix is questionable, vocals sound flat, recording as a whole lacks depth. Song is very cool overall, nice riff, good hook, instrumental tag at about three minutes is cool. I think your on the verge of a really hip sound and style, recording needs some work to get there.

Positive Comments: Oh I love that fat almost Barry White Love Unlimited groove. The backing vocals/chorus come in with a huge vitamin dose. Great lyrics and the rap phrasing/rhythm is really catchy. The instruments are super tasty. The main voice sounds like a blend of JayZ and Biggie! I like this a lot!!

Constructive Comments: There’s a bit of distortion on the backing vocals. I think it’s time to drop ‘nigga’ from the discourse regardless of the color source. It’s disrespectful no matter what the context. There are some overall distortion / clipping issues in the instrumental mix.

Positive Comments: More Beatlesque music from Harry!! This has a great vibe and an introverted Sgt Pepper story. Really tight and clever arranging here with some stellar bass work and good drums (are you playing drums or using samples?). Super nice guitar solo!

Constructive Comments: The piano may be too “plinky” childlike. I think, as in last review, that you really just need to accept your voice and have on vocal track in the verses. It’s cluttered with multiple voices, especially when the phrasing isn’t exactly the same in each of them. I’d like to hear this done to potential –do you have someone in your town who could sing, especially a female voice?

Positive Comments: I find the lyrics a bit indistinguishable but this is a solid Steeleye-Span style song with a fairly generic hook.

Constructive Comments: Pleasant work- would just work on melodic sophistication on the next one.

Positive Comments: Loved this piece. It would be great in a movie, commercial or video game. Great beat. This song is all about feel. Great percussion. May want to consider editing it down to below 4:00 minutes. What hooked me in the beginning was becoming somewhat repetitive at the end. This is a song that should want me wanting more. I think that by shortening it a little will get me hitting the replay button. Overall, a great piece.

Constructive Comments: The only criticism I have with this song is that it is a little too long. At under four minutes the song would hook you in and leave you wanting more instead of saying “that was great but I had enough” you’ll be saying “it ended too soon, I want to hear it again.” All this being said, I was involuntarily moving to the beat. Awesome.

Positive Comments: Song has a great bluesy feel. Easy to listen to. Although the guitar lead was far from complex, it sucked me in. I liked the guitar part in the beginning. I was listening for it to build but after the keys it went a little bland and seemed to lack the same intensity towards the end when I would have liked to heard a more intense sound building on the first part. For me the song “came in like a lion and went out like a lamb”.

Constructive Comments: Overall I liked it and listened to it several times. The guitar at the end sounded too pizzicato to me. I am a sax player so can only give you my impression, but as I said above, the guitar sounded great in the beginning but seemed to lack the same kind of “wow” at the end.

Positive Comments: Primitive Blues Noir tune with an interesting percussion track. It’s got a lot going for it style wise, good tune.

Constructive Comments: ON the one hand, the drum track is pretty much aweful, and the whole thing is pretty much crude and amateurish. But OTOH it really is a pretty cool little tune with a very specific vibe that might sell in the right context, like an indie movie or something like that. If that abrupt ending is intentional I’d fix it, maybe make the whole thing a little shorter.
