Positive Comments: The recording is decent and the instrumentation, performance, and arrangement are done well. The song has a good flow and the lyrics are clear and understandable.

Constructive Comments: Although the overall arrangement seems to work well, I feel the lyrics need work. They don’t seem to be original enough to produce interest and, therefore, they do not produce a hook that can push the song to a higher level.

Positive Comments: This has a nice, laid back feel with very nice guitar work. Although very bluesy, it also had a smooth jazz feel that carried well throughout. The chord changes worked well and made it interesting.

Constructive Comments: The guitar had a nice tone and was very, very well done but perhaps a little too “in your face” at times. I would have liked to see it back up a little at times because the keyboards were producing a very nice feel throughout. I think a short keyboard solo would add interest and push this to a higher level.

Positive Comments: I liked the feel of the song and the overall ambiance was interesting. The recording and arrangement worked well and had a professional quality.

Constructive Comments: I found the sax to be very interesting and felt it should have been brought out much stronger in the mix because it had a very nice “lead” quality to it. I also found the several pauses in the basic rhythm to be disruptive of the flow rather than helpful. I would have also liked to hear the female vocalist more throughout the tune.

Positive Comments: The recording and performance is well done and the levels of the instrumentation seem to be right on and mixed well. The overall energy of the song is high and maintained throughout.

Constructive Comments: I felt the song was very familiar right from the beginning, sounding much like something I have already heard – perhaps too much like something already heard. It seemed to be a copy of something, although I’m not sure which song it copies. I felt it lacked the originality needed to make it stand out.

Positive Comments: I liked the beginning very much. At first I thought it sounded like people talking! It’s that little difference which gives it some excitement. It would be neat to hear this in a movie scene where someone commits to searching near or far, in space or on Earth.

Constructive Comments: I liked it so I don’t have any recommendations for changes. Keep up the good work!

Positive Comments: I like the energy of this song. I imagine this used for two groups having a dance off, maybe a scene in a movie. The length of the song is perfect for house dance music and also say, for example, a disc jockey announcing the bridal party and then the bride and groom to come on up on the dance floor.

Constructive Comments: I don’t have any suggestions because it sounded pretty good.

Positive Comments: I enjoyed this very much. As I listened I can visualize it being used in a movie soundtrack, an exercise video, a pin-ball game. The energy of it has tension and release.

Constructive Comments: The rolling tom tom fills are a bit 80’s cheezy. That’s my only criticism. This is really nice!!
