Constructive Comments: I would have liked the lead guitar to be used a little more sparingly because it seemed to take away focus from the lyrics and vocal. I also felt a more prominent hook could push this song to a higher level and make it more interesting.

Positive Comments: This has a classic blues feel and the instrumentation is right for the genre. The vocal has a good, clear quality and fits the mood of the song. The background vocals add to the ambiance as well.

Constructive Comments: I feel the lyrics could use a little more originality to carry the topic better. The music accompaniment fits the blues feel well but could provide a little more space to make it less monotonous. Perhaps adding the rhythm and lead guitars one after the other rather than putting them all in at the beginning would add a build-up and make it more interesting.

Positive Comments: This has a very classic feel and the instrumentation works well to carry that feel throughout. The vocal tone and quality also help keep that feel. I love the strings. The quality of the recording is good.

Constructive Comments: I think this song would come across much better if a simple drum beat was added to provide a unifying flow. Even a simple bass drum and high hat would work to provide a rhythm to grab hold of and push this song to a better level. The topic of the lyrics is interesting but I’d like to see a little more personal depth in them.
