Constructive Comments: The quirky ending threw me off for a second, but then I felt that it could be used for an appropriate situation (i.e., something gone wrong). I suggest a more traditional ending, then throwing in your current ending as an alternative or, incorporating that mood shift somewhere in the middle as an editable part that could easily be cut out or usied separately.
