Positive Comments: You got me from the first notes from the fretless bass. Building nicely… the theme is interesting enough to keep me engaged. Nice building of the percussion, the groove is simple but nice and fits the track.

Constructive Comments: Pad sound is a little space age but interesting. I would have liked to hear it blended with a warmer fuller pad. You’re doing good with the limited sounds and instruments. Song doesn’t progress enough, the changing of chords is nice but I felt there was room or a simple synth lead or guitar over the top especially at 2:35… that’s just my taste though, I like layers.

Positive Comments: Nice dance beat, fun and happy. Cool accompaniment which changes enough that it doesn’t become redundant. As the song progresses I am more into the hook. This song is fun and from the heart…. Or from the head haha.

Constructive Comments: For my taste there is too much reverb on the vocal, it’s distracting. Groove is a little not together around 1:25. I’m a ganja fan so I did the concept. Good sound effects really brings your concept in focus. Missing a bridge so the track feels incomplete to me. Fun track… could hear edits here and there on the copies or splices… attention to these details will give a more professional presentation. Felt as though the rhythm tracks could have been stronger or more creative, kind of repetitive for my ears. I love ganja too!

Positive Comments: The great Gig In the sky…….. is where my mind took me once the vocals came in

Constructive Comments: Great quality recordingLove the panning you are using on the different guitars. Really adds dynamic. The vocals are too dry. I would add a delay on her voice to make it bounce around like you did with the guitars. When the bass comes in the levels are too low bring them up and by up I do not mean volume. What its missing that its source material captured so well was the raw emotion, the power and the little subtle nuances in the song to put the story into perspective. You definitely have that ability to pull that off but I would say you are about 75% there. Keep it up!

Positive Comments: It reminded of Syd Barrett singing Ive got a bike. Like that broken psychedelic feel.

Constructive Comments: I would take another pass on the vocals as it is really hard to understand what you are singing about. And when you add the broken rhythm it just makes the whole thing very hard to follow. Once you fix that the song will be much better.

Constructive Comments: I don’t want to say anything without knowing the full story behind it but way too many different things going on at the same time doesn’t make original. It just makes it a pain in the ass. I bet there is a great story in the making of this though lol

Positive Comments: Well this is my 2nd review and thank god this was sooooo much better than the first one lol. Honestly, the song reminded me of the very first band I played in The Dead Rabbits. I heard eerily similarities on both the positive and negative aspects of the song.

Constructive Comments: The big thing I stressed on my first review was the lack of dynamics in the song. Here, I feel the song has great dynamics, however, the recording does little show it. And I say that because my early recording had that same issue. All of the instruments you were doubting yourself and thinking were too loud are not. They need to be turned up. I felt like the drums were too what’s the word contained ie dry? It felt like it was impacting the overall recording. Awesome song! I hoped I helped.

Positive Comments: The first song that came to mind that I felt like would fit the artists persona was Mink DeVille’s “It’s so easy” which is an awesome song that shows the dynamics of the song while chugging along the train.

Constructive Comments: I don’t want to hate on anyones music as I’m sure you put your upmost effort in the song but I do feel like it was missing that umph, that POW!!!!!! To where I felt like the song became I literal interpretation of the lyrics. And I apologize if I come off as blunt, I am trying to work on it.I do feel a live drummer would definitely help the song or at the minimum expanding on the percussion. Songs should be a roller coaster ride, fulls of ups and downs dynamically speaking. It always helps getting a outside perspective so I hoped I was more helpful than an asshole, I apologize if I was the latter, however, we all need constructive criticism to get better. Good Luck!

Positive Comments: Robust arrangement and use of bass strings as the foundation, and the high strings for sparkle and interest. Great use of pulsing rhythm to keep the action going. Nice release there at 2:40 or so, then another beautiful constructed build-up to the very compelling end. Love the oboe? like a shard of light near the end, and the piano bits really placed perfectly. Thunder at end was subtle but very effective!

Constructive Comments: I wouldn’t change a thing. Really was like a mini movie. Great work!

Positive Comments: Really enjoyed this track, nice arch to the arrangement, starting with the added strings there at around 1:40 – could strings be added to that piano part at 1:28 that comes a little earlier? Sounds just a bit sparse in comparison to the next section. Love the flow of the whole track though, with a beautiful crescendo of emotion and rich instrumentation at the finale. Smooth editing between sections, each phrase is really executed perfectly, and I really was painting a picture in the mind as I listened.

Constructive Comments: Apart from just wanting to hear a “touch” of strings under the piano at 1:22, not to detract from its beautiful starkness, just to support and add to the gentle build before that wonderful cello comes in. I thought the track was fabulous, especially gratifying the end section that really knocks it out of the park. Kudos!
