Constructive Comments: The slide at the start I would like to last a bit longer and help build the entry to the song. Not a fan of the snare sound. I would like to hear a beefier snare with a bit more drums overall to give it more drive. I really like the song and can see it in many different placements. Background in TV/ Movies. Could be great in a TV ad. Would also work as credits roll or behind an announcer talking about what’s coming up next. Great potential!

Positive Comments: I think the song has potential. The singing is good. It sounds country like it should.

Constructive Comments: I would like to hear a version of this song with full drums and twangy tele style electric guitar. Having alternate versions helps open more doors. There may already be alt versions but I only heard this one. I think the vocal is a bit loud and the background vocal ratio might be a bit high. It’s a great start.

Constructive Comments: The violin that comes in before the break sounds a little off. I would check to make sure all of your notes are hitting on the right time. I feel bad here because I really do not know what to right. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. All of things I was hearing negatively speaking I feel will take care of themselves the more songs you get under your belt. Learning curves so to speak lol. And if I read this one wrong my apologies lol. Keep jammin!

Constructive Comments: The drums are throwing the song off with that crash. It doesn’t sound good. I would be interested in knowing how exactly you recorded the drums. I just feel like you weren’t too sure of where to go with the song which is ok. One common thing I have been hearing with a lot of the songs I have reviewed is an overall lack of dynamics. And what I mean by that is highs and lows. A song should be an emotional journey full of ups and downs and twists and turns. So I would take another pass on the recording. A good master needs a good mix and a good mix needs a good recording and so on lol. I hope this helps. It is hard to be critical and not come off as an asshole so keep working and your songs will only get better.

Positive Comments: I really liked the riff where the bass started it and it had that swing vibe to it. Song reminded me of Everclear.

Constructive Comments: I feel the best part of the song had the least amount of exposure. In some cases that’s a good thing but in this case it was not because the other parts I feel have just been done over and over and over again. If it were my song I would focus more on the loose feel you started to go with but then went back to that riff that just killed it for me. I would also open up the drums more to add more dynamics to the song. More ups and downs. Keep rockin!

Positive Comments: Definitely had the sitcom feel but with dark lyrics. For some reason I kept thinking of the show Murphy Brown and I don’t really even remember the show as I was just a baby when that was out. But the song took me back to that sitcom era. And it was good to hear another pianist. I feel piano is one of the most under appreciated instrument in terms of newer music so it was good to hear it.

Constructive Comments: Overall the mix was good, the vocal melodies were good. If you were going for that sitcom feel you definitely nailed it. If you were not then that’s a big WHOOPS on my part lol. This is why I did score low on originality, not because it was bad. Keep up the great work.

Positive Comments: The positive aspects reminded me of Live. The negative aspects (there weren’t many) reminded me of Five Finger Death Punch for some reason lol.

Constructive Comments: Overall i thought the mix sounded great, the levels were good. Finally I have heard a good song on here doing these reviews. The chorus was really well put together. I really liked the harmonizing the vocalist did there. My only criticism would be on the verse. The delivery just felt a little out of place to me but that’s just my subjective opinion. Overall Great Job!!! You guys were my sixth review and thank god this one was good as I was starting to get pissed off lol.

Positive Comments: Interesting sound trackish music. Reminds me of Pat Metheny’s Offramp album… without Pat and Lyle. Good song structure. Create a nice vibe and visual. I like the sounds and the tension created. Good use of layering. Mix is good too… I like how you kept things controlled and subtle until the climax near the end.overall I really like this track

Constructive Comments: This song doesn’t need anything else in my opinion. Point was made very well. I felt there was room for more dream… percussion was absent. Some timpani hits, cymbal swells and little sound effects could improve and enhance the development. Adding these elements and then some kind of a breakdown and slight theme change could extend the song and give it more interest and contrast.
