The only thing that comes to mind is that the song is a bit repetitive, and the mix could use a little more EQ to smooth the instruments out a bit more and the mix could use a little work as well. Positive Comments: -Good bones here for your song. Can’t get too specific, as you’re not ready for that yet. The lower marks just mean it’s not ready for a full review yet – can’t tell what you have yet and where it’s going.-Your hook is catchy – it will be good to hear a vocal and lyrics on it. Nice.-You have a nice vibe and feel to the groove.

Constructive Comments: -Not sure this is a Country song. Might be more Pop, depending on how you develop it.-Be sure to find contrast between your verse melody and your chorus melody to set off and heighten the chorus.-I get the idea of using simple production values as you build the song – maybe try to find more organic country patches to use (acoustic guitar wuld be nice). -Shorten your arrangement to a 4-ms. intro to get to the lyric quickly, use a Vs1 – Ch1 – Vs2 – Ch2 with an outro structure, and then see what listeners think.-I’d get a bluprint for your lyric story going before anything else. What do you want to say? What’s the big idea? That’s your hook and title.-I enjoyed thinking about this.-Have fun!

Constructive Comments: -The chorus needs a lift and contrast from the verses.-Maybe raise the pitch and range of the chorus lyric/melody and change where the lyric starts in the meter of the chorus measures. -If the chorus sets itself off from the verses and increases the tension and emotion of the song, this would work really well.-EASY adjustment, if any of this resonates with you.-Enjoyed the listen and thinking about it!
