Song: Insignificant Bits

Positive Comments: We really liked this song and would love to hear more. When the song ended I was ready to hear more. I would compare the guitar elements to Satriani and Beck styles. We like this enough that we’d play it on our radio station.
Constructive Comments: Not much to critic as we thoroughly enjoyed this track – see the scoring. It’s got a really good head banging beat and the breaks and transitions spot on. Excellent, excellent, excellent!

Song: Time To End It
Reviewer: Rusty Hicks Entertainment
Positive Comments: We liked the rhythm and the basic melody lead.
Constructive Comments: The vocals could be mixed in better with the music. If your stereo field was wider and add a little reverb it would send you back into the mix some. Your song is most likely to long for radio airplay, but if you could trim it to under 5 minutes it would be more commercially viable.

Song: The Moonlight
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: Wow, what a great blues break up song! I love the way the songwriter uses the planetary/stars metaphor in the song, coupling it with the present reality of the angst of seeing her dancing with other men. Great word pictures and lyric writing. VERY sing-able, catchy chorus. Love the way you returned to the metaphor in the bridge – riding the milky way – very creative phrase. The sax is great, as is all the instrumentation. Excellent vocal. Someone worked very hard to make this track shine.
Constructive Comments: The only sad thing about this track is you lost the girl.

Song: Hush Ye My Bairne

Positive Comments: Haunting Celtic/Irish lullaby. Sounds very authentic with simple, yet beautiful instrumentation. Love the harp playing. Vocals are high and sweet, right the money, strong and soft and beautiful. The love definitely seeps through every sweet note. Just the right amount of reverb on the vocal.
Constructive Comments: If you put me to sleep, Delta, how can I review more songs today? Love ya,Mrs. Kate

Song: Cup of Soup

Positive Comments: This instrumental has a simplicity to it in a fully produced way. It has a driving energy to it with some good ins, outs and surprises that keep the listener engaged. I love the way all the instruments work together in this track to make it shine. The ratchet sound percussion was totally cool. If you’re looking for a short, high-energy rock instrumental, this one fits the bill.
Constructive Comments: Have you tried marketing your work on Audiosparx.com? With some good meta-data, this track might get some action on that site. Tell ’em Mrs. Kate sent you!

Song: Picture on the Wall
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: The poignant sadness of losing a lover comes through brilliantly in this song…you can hear it in the passion-infused vocals. Best instrumentation featured is the guitar – solid and great sounding. Love the vocal harmonies. Effective lyric writing with the picture on the wall (v1) and returning to it in the last verse. Nice rise on the vocal near the end.
Constructive Comments: The synth sounds cheesy to me on this song, as does the canned rhythm beat. Introduction is too long. Work on breath control. There were a couple of times I noticed you took a breath when you should have been able to sustain it through the phrase. The ending needs a “real ending”. Sorry to be so critical, but I really did like your song! I just think it needs some work. Please post the lyrics to your song.
