Song: I DID THAT
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: GREAT STORY! Vivid word pictures. The guy ditches the same old routine and begins to live the fast fun life, then finds love and settles down, leaving the fast life behind. Excellently written lyrics. Love the internal rhyme (racin’/chasin’). Fantastic job on the lead vocal. Even though the words were rapid fire, I could understand them all. Love the image of the train flying off the rails. “I did that” simple conclusion that binds the song together thematically. Love the conclusion…heaven at last.
Constructive Comments: I did NOT like the instrumental introduction to this song. It was hard on my ears. Hard to describe, but it wasn’t pleasant to listen to. The outro seemed cut off. Might want to recheck your upload. Other than that, wow, it’s a 5 star country song and I think it’s very commercial and could go far.

Song: Will You Remember?
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: Here is a different kind of break up song. Great intro with innovative piano licks, drums kicking in provides an anticipatory vibe that introduces the song well. The repetitive questions (Do you remember) are very effective. The emotion and angst really come through the vocals. The rhymes/lyrics are very carefully written and emotionally delivered by the singer. I like the way he used the “ing” words, very effective. Also loved the piano arpeggios! The “I want to” section at the end is a great confession and conclusion to the song. Forgive and forget…but will he be able to?
Constructive Comments: Please post the lyrics to your song. So in the verse about the girl, why were you not listening? Why were her eyes shining? (That seemed like a positive word picture and I wasn’t quite sure how that meshed with the story).

Song: Glendalough
Reviewer: Michael Rains
Positive Comments: It’s a great blend of a number of instruments that tie together nicely in this instrumental. The variety of themes helps to keep it interesting. The quality of the performance is excellent and fade-in’s and fade-out’s are done well. The sound has a Celtic feel from Ireland or the British Isles. The percussion lends itself as a background in an Irish dance. With the variety of threads, I would call it something like “Celtic Medley”.
Constructive Comments: Although 3:50 keeps it below the typical 4-minute max, it started to have similar sounds because the themes were repeating. Perhaps adding to the number of threads would heighten the interest.
