Positive Comments: As pleasingly gloomy as The Clan of Xymox, sometimes wailing like the Cure, and with the atmospheric pop sensibility of the Moody Blues thrown in, this is a well composed song, and quite hooky. I haven’t heard a formula like this and it works. The title and subject has an eerie kind of elan that makes it mysterious, and very appropriate for goth rock. The lyrics fit the mood of the melody well.

Constructive Comments: You have terrific melody and lyrics with a lot of mood, and that’s by far the biggest part of it, so everything else is personal taste and some polishing. What I would suggest for experimenting with enunciating the lyrics more carefully and clearing up the vocal tracks which sounds muddy. Well, I do have to say your vocals sound better than any vocals I could personally do on my best day! And your vocals do lend themselves well to goth rock. It’s a terrific piece of songwriting skill.

Positive Comments: Bass figure at intro grabs you right away. Enter horn and piano and celesta. Nice melodicism. Sparing piano break, tasteful. Half step modulations preserve freshness of material. Overall, a well structured and layered work.

Constructive Comments: If realism of performance is the artist’s intention, I would suggest taking some time to massage some of the parts — the sax, for instance, might benefit from very subtle, discreet pitch bends/wobbles such as you might hear in a live sax performance. It is extra work, but you may want to consider.

Constructive Comments: A stronger recognizable theme in trumpet could help, perhaps? Maybe a prefiguration of theme at 2:01?

Positive Comments: Nice, warm, jazzy love song. Reminds me of times I was chilling on some Florida beach years ago. A pleasant tune for sure.

Constructive Comments: I might have been inclined to selectively double portions of, or word groupings in, the lead vocal line perhaps more of a pop rather than a jazz technique, but I think it could be effective here. Good stuff tho!

Positive Comments: Cool grove from the start, nice sound on the rhythm guitar. I’m liking the vocals on this track good lyrics and great voice. Lead guitar is sounding sweets. Nice hook on the Chorus. Lead guitar is shining on the ending. I thought it was a very catchy tune with lots of potential for many film applications.

Constructive Comments: I really like the arrangement on the cut. Very well done thank you for sharing, best of luck to you.
