Positive Comments: Just a fine homespun Country song painting images of a traditional, simple, family life. Great guitar picking in every respect and easily recognisable high quality vocal with accurate harmonies. Recording is top notch and the mix is just right with the vocals in exactly the right place so that the story can be heard.A very good country song.

Positive Comments: Very good piece for sound track purposes. Good instrumental performances and a wide variety of country instruments. Recording quality is high standard with a little country EDM going on in the background.

Constructive Comments: I wasn’t sure what to make of this on first hearing but I assume it is intended for film/tv soundtrack purposes? I would have liked to hear a bit more variety in the chord pattern but I do like the way it builds and quietens down again.

Constructive Comments: This thing stands very well on it’s own. The only suggestion I have is maybe judiciously adding subtle background harmonies at points(oo’s, ahs, whatever), and maybe under 2nd verse, subtle harmonies with lyrics behind 2nd ‘like a bird…’ — Don’t take this as a criticism! Just a thought……… Super work!!
