Positive Comments: Like the moods of weather, always changing, sometimes in surprising ways.

Constructive Comments: The vibraphone overpowered the other instruments near the beginning. The overall recording level is too inconsistent. Granted variety can be good, but this doesn’t seem to have any unifying theme.

Positive Comments: Very intriguing sound. Some of the dark chord changes really grab you. Instrumentation is both unique and very appealing. Not generally a huge fan of the oboe (assuming that’s what it is), but it sounds great in this piece.

Constructive Comments: Very pleasing piece.

Positive Comments: I enjoyed this walk through memory lane. A laid back little country tune that reminds me of Merl Haggard and Johnny Cash with a touch of good ol’ Willy Nelson.Reminds me of the days when country music came with that signature twang and you either dug it or didn’t. I dug it

Constructive Comments: Cool tune man.

Positive Comments: The lyric and vibe are catchy, though cliche.

Constructive Comments: In the vein of artists like The Spin Doctors, Gin Blossoms and Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, this infectious pop-rock song propels to a bright edge despite the over-the-top social commentary.

Positive Comments: A haunting effort with earnest guitar work, this track pulls from a variety of post-punk and dark wave/goth elements. Notably: Red Lorry Yellow Lorry/Gang Of Four/The Cure. Cheers!

Constructive Comments: Despite the nice technical guitar work, the mix is dominated by the enduring loudness of the lead guitar all to the sufferance of the complimentary elements. Drums need to be miked and “seated” within the track properly. Bass is nonexistent except for it following the phrases. A climbing chord progression in the break/bridge would add much needed contra-position to the steady stream diminished key and tone of arrangement.

Positive Comments: This has a strong novelty aspect. In the right setting it would add to a TV or movie scene. The vocals add to its appeal. I also like the simplicity of the arrangement and the vocals do not get buried. I does have an infectious consistency.

Constructive Comments: I really do not have any constructive things to say as the song is very self-contained and bulls-eye targeted.GOOD LUCK with it!!!

Reviewer: David James

Positive Comments: This is really strong. The instrumentation is full on. The chorus is super catchy. Great energy. Great vocal. The ‘top of the world’ lyric idea is excellent. Great change at 2.47. Excellent instrumentation and recording quality. This is a better song than the majority of stuff I hear on the radio.

Constructive Comments: You should have uploaded the lyrics. When you have a lyric dense song like this it’s impossible for me to review them properly without the words in front of me. So for that reason alone I’ve had to mark the lyrics down a point. However I’m adding the song to my playlist.

Song: a diff shade of blu

Positive Comments: Good metal guitar playing. I liked the two guitar voices and the bass playing. There is a kind of lumbering, stop and start quality to the tune, but the groove is maintained and there are contrasting sections to hold the listener’s interest.

Constructive Comments: I wanted to hear a little more contrast. The two main guitar voices are fine perhaps some reverb or panning to create more space between them. The first bridge section has a nice guitar line (chorused?) that would contrast better as a synth part, perhaps. My biggest issue was with the drum production. The playing is good, but the sound set doesn’t have the depth or bottom to really anchor the tune with the bass for the guitars to sing on top. Just my opinion! Good tune.

Song: WILL YOU LOSE CAPTURE 2

Positive Comments: The song has a very catchy chorus melody. Nice vocal performance and excellent use of backing vocals. Lovely chord progression. Nice change of pace at 1.01. Great feel to the song – very danceable. Shades of Bruno Mars about the song.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics would be easier to review if they had been uploaded. I feel the song would benefit from some vocal improvisation at the end of the song to add a joyous, free-wheeling, party atmosphere. Some really high female vocals would have worked really well, so that the song ends on a high.

Positive Comments: This is not salsa, it’s Brazilian rooted in samba and bossa nova.I liked the female vocal and the interplay with the male vocalist. I don’t speak Portuguese and cannot comment on the lyric content or lyric hook, but the hook of the melody is catchy. The string arranging is tasteful and minimal piano riffs add the right spice to the tune. The bass playing is excellent.

Constructive Comments: I guess the aim of the production was a pop and bossa blend and I think it works well for commercial purposes. However, to my ear it is bass-heavy and I missed hearing the percussion which would lend clarity and the rhythmic swing that make this genre so infectious. In other words, a better mix would help an already nifty tune be great.
