Positive Comments: This is an absolutely beautiful piano composition. Sensitively and soulfully played, it brings to mind a quiet walk in a flower garden. Sweet, gentle, pensive, lovely are some words to describe how this song came across to me. Great piano sample used. Excellent conclusive ending. Bravisimo!

Song: Twice as Blue

Positive Comments: Very low voice takes a while to tune in. Lovely rhythm great to sway to, the accompaniment is strong, lots of repetition which works well. Truly bluesy song that you grow into enjoying as the song progresses. The singer is good but occasionally the lyrics are hard to hear. Enjoyable song, especially if you are feeling grumpy!

Constructive Comments: A little hard to hear the lyrics because of the low voice. Whilst the twice as blue hook works it doesn’t really tell a story about why you are blue? The song builds but the information is not enriched. Very cabaret style song in an intimate setting. I think possibly best heard live in a blues set. The accompaniment is strong.

Song: Strange Voo Doo #2

Positive Comments: Original and unusual with witty lyrics and a good singing voice. Quite unique. The accompaniment works well and supports the song and the rhythm is strong, this is a very jazzy blues song. I like it a lot. The repetition works well and becomes a hook getting under your skin. It represents many era’s and has a retro feel.

Constructive Comments: I think that it is mislabelled as blues. I don’t think the accompaniment can be improved although the intro is a little long. It takes a while to orientate into the song and the skeleton voodoo stuff does not really work with romance, that bit jars. all in all a strong song and I particularly like the sax interlude.

Positive Comments: Sway in your seat as you listen to this storyteller bid a nod to his favorite artists and his love of song and the stage, and he does it well! Going through the journey of his life, he shifts keys as he enters his life of marriage and family in the last verse. Instrumentation is easy and expertly played, the melody is easy to follow, and his vocals are as wonderful and comfortable as listening to Don Williams in a small intimate venue. That’s part of what folk and country tunes are about…telling your story and making the audience feel like they got to know you a bit.

Constructive Comments: Very well done! I’d celebrate with a good meal and a brew after recording something like this.

Positive Comments: You know what? I’m going to add yellow jackets to this list. Vocals are just plain fun with lots of inflections. You can just hear that child asking questions! The soft guitar and vocals are charming and all that are needed for this lilting tune.

Constructive Comments: Very well done. Let’s see if the numbers work on this one!

Positive Comments: Nice mix of drums and instrumentation, the piece has a dream like quality with interesting beats mixed with a great sound on all keys. Moves very well through its changes would be a solid sound track to many types or film or movies. It brought to my mind visions of Africa with the style of drums and beats used. I really enjoyed it, great job.

Constructive Comments: I thought the mix was very well done, a very strong performance of a well thought out project. All the best to you.
