Positive Comments: This song appears to be a statement of loss and then being found/set free in the music, in the performance of the song in front of a dancing audience. Love the first 2 lines about bleeding blue, sleeping in the rain – paints a good picture of loss and the lonely heart. Love the riff after insane – really suits the lyric! The intro is very effective and builds up into the song nicely.
Constructive Comments: This song could definitely be shortened to about 3 minutes – might make it more marketable? I think the ending could be a little more conclusive. What are the “lies of green?” Other questions: Why “I’m some kind of freak” and blame (on the line). Just some things about this song that I didn’t get. But I am 68…and this is not my genre. Could be the reason, ha ha.
