Song: Tribute for Tasha (orchestrated)

Positive Comments: Transfers in and out of feelings and tempos smoothly and lets the melody tell its story. When needed to emphasize a segment, other strings are added and at one point an oboe? Maybe and then some percussion to climax the meaning of this story and feelings. It is a complete emotional journey that quietly leads to a soft and slower ending.

Constructive Comments: While this composition is complete on its own, I’m always in favor of considering some diversity in texture voicing to enhance the beauty already present. A newer key when the instruments get added or maybe a surprise pause or interlude that brings on a new “spell” perhaps in the flow just to present another different statement section to consider, however short it might be. None of this however needs to be added for this piece to be excellent.

Positive Comments: Wow, this really is blues to me, but regardless very cool Steely Dan vibe, high compliment! I like the vocal, genuine sounding, structure of the tune is very cool, as well as the SEEMINGLY “all over the place” melodic structure, but I think what we have here is brilliance, and not the same ‘ol same ‘ol…very very well done! I like the massive use of the minor chords…again, damn well done, and NOT the Same ‘ol!

Constructive Comments: I got nothing except MAYBE (and that’s a big maybe on one listen…) a slight tweek on the mix, clarifying some of very cool instrumentation, but hell, I may be wrong on that…kudos, all the best.

Constructive Comments: I’d consider remixing this, to clarify the instrumentation as well as the vocals, seems a tad crowded, but that’s my opinion. Overall good job!
