Positive Comments: I really liked the song, it reminded me of Michael Franks. Gave me the feeling of being out on a sail boats with my special lady…sipping on some vintage wine. Very jazzy in a morning brunch sort of way. The length was very good, and overall content of song. I wanted to hear it again. Good job.

Constructive Comments: I have no constructive criticism, because I really liked the song.

Positive Comments: I liked how the song had a definite story in it. It felt strong and feminine with a twist saying like it or not, I can do whatever I want to you. Nice. The piano concept was interesting in that it felt like you were going to be riding calmly down a riverbank, and suddenly you were thrown into a world of mischief. Cool.

Constructive Comments: If I had to suggest anything, I would say just give the guitar and bass some distance from the piano. Compress them down and let the piano float and dazzle over them. Bring the piano volume down a little and this thing will pop with character even more. This will give you a little more ceiling and won’t feel like everything is trying to force itself out of your song all at the same time. Just my suggestion.

Positive Comments: I really liked the instrumental concept of the song, but it had a few issues. It sounded dated like a 90s music track I suggest updating sound library and vst’s if they are being used. I liked the songs overall instrumentation but the midi files sounded very electronic and out of sync. The quantization was off just a little. And last of all the Cougar sound was too loud and felt out of place. I suggest compressing and pushing it far to the back and allowing it to fall and rise just below the music.

Constructive Comments: I added my constructive comments above. Overall a good song and could possibly be a movie track but just needs some updating of vst, and midi library. Play around with the quantization a little more, try to make solo instruments float inside of the song so they don’t feel stiff and unreal.

Positive Comments: Very good arrangement, vocals and instrumentation – love the harmonica. Song reminiscent of later Stones work, a sort of country / rock vibe.

Constructive Comments: Some difficulty picking out the chorus and hence the song title, pitched for Real Big Deal cos it was repeated a couple of times. Vocals, although very good, were rather monotone to my ear with not a great deal of pitch in melody. but having said that, a good song and a good listen!

Positive Comments: No mistaking this! It’s up front, in your face, clear as crystal! What’s it called? “Subliminal.” Hey, wait a minute, let me explain. This first person narrative has just had enough of his partner’s veiled talk and lies and he puts it forth: “I can’t take no more of your! Subliminal messages! And that’s where it steps on the gas and rocks out angrily like nobody’s business and you’re right there saying, “Yeah!!! Enough is enough!” And you’ll love it because you know exactly what it’s like! You just can’t go wrong with this well crafted tune that matches words and music…and it delivers!

Constructive Comments: Well done on all fronts…powerful vocals, instruments, mixing, etc. I like this one.
