Positive Comments: Awesome song, just what we need today more spiritual healing. This is not my normal type of music that I listen to, but I enjoyed it all the same because music crosses all boundaries and beliefs. It is truly universal as was this song.

Constructive Comments: I really don’t have any critiques at this time.

Positive Comments: I really liked this song, it felt authentic and had a nice flow to it. I could listen to songs like this all day. This song made me want to pull out my grill and cook up everything in the house LOL. Nice work on the sax and all the other instruments as well.

Constructive Comments: If I had to critique, sax felt a little out place in some spots, but not enough to change how I felt about the song as a whole.

Positive Comments: Very nice and easy to listen to. Though I put it in the jazz genre, it could’ve easily gone in the pop category. It also had a slight country western feel to it but not enough to classify it as CW. This would make a very nice song to play during an early event like a jazz brunch. I really liked the vocals very smooth. Definitely a song for film also.

Constructive Comments: The only critique I had was artist needs to keep up the good work.

Song: I Clean Up Good Paulie

Reviewer: Mitch Siegal

Positive Comments: This was a solid fun and super honest tune and although it’s not my style of singing, with lyrics like that which are good, it has to be sung that way. Nice job!

Constructive Comments: I would have probably tweaked the lyrics a bit in certain places and added some harmonies in the course to fill up that part. I would’ve also considered making a distinctive bridge at some point of the song and maybe towards the end, taken out most or all of The instrumentation just for a brief moment in a 1/2 verse after the last chorus for sectional contrast, then come back with one last full chorus. Other than that, it’s a terrific tune.

Song: A Summer In Hell

Positive Comments: Arizona has five seasons. The fifth and longest one is hell. Need proof? Listen to this song! It breaks out with loud desperate guitars screaming for relief, the hard driving tune, lyrics baked in nature’s oven, and leather tough vocals will have you gasping for air up to the last chorus! This song would do well in any southwestern action movie. I got a good chuckle out of it, too, because I live in Phoenix, where we often have temperatures over 115, yards are landscaped with rocks, and sagebrush gets trimmed like a hedge!

Constructive Comments: Terrific job!

Positive Comments: Guitar and orchestra. Great combination here. Simple to mystical developing. Beautiful mixture of styles and feelings. You bring it to a height with the voices ending the chordal mixture is interesting and reminds me of the style I like too. A melody can be developed in many interesting ways using imaginative chords. Yes! I agree.

Constructive Comments: It is a complete feeling….but I want it to go on. Maybe it does but if not its a great orchestral blend a feeling!

Positive Comments: We need to embrace the more simple and heartfelt somg. Raise an octave to embrace another voice speaking. The phrasing and changing of tempo draws you into the feelings you wnt to convey, and are doing it so very well. I personally miss the simple flavor of one instrument expressing everything needed to say. Excellent!

Constructive Comments: I dont think improvement is needed.

Positive Comments: Here’s a philosophical song that’s not too deep for the average listener to understand. The message is that time keeps moving on. I like the imagery of the seed left dormant on the ground. My favorite lyric is the bridge: If you think it’s a blink of an eyeIt’s a grin and a sigh and you’re gone. The unity of the facial expressions describing the brevity of life is cleverly done. “The shade hides shadows left behind” Another unique lyric with excellent alliteration.

Constructive Comments: Keep the great songs coming!

Positive Comments: This is probably the best English/Spanish tune I’ve ever heard on Broadjam. It’s just so upbeat and fun to listen to. The vocals are crystal clear, augmented by pleasing background vocals and brass instrumentation that’s perfect for this song. It’s a dance tune, a love tune and a fun tune. Love the drums, bass and guitar. The Shoo-wop interlude is great fun with the timely key change that soars into the instrumental. Great production! Such a memorable hook!
