Positive Comments: Great classic sound. When the chorus hits and the simple back ground vocals come in I think yeah, I needed that. Lyrics are so straight forward and in your face…. reminds me of so many 80’s bands (J Giles or The Outfield etc…). Season songwriter… great guitar line for the tag!! All the way down to the rock & Roll ending (not quite a stadium tag but nice for the studio). Arrangement is very cool with the guitar fills, love that. An the little kicks and hits… the overduds (think it’s tambourine) are really cool details.

Constructive Comments: Intro riff is kind of a rip-off of “Long Cool Woman” (bet you didn’t think people would notice)… it’s all good, we all get our riffs from somewhere else whether we know it at the time or not. I like the heavy tight delay on the vocal and very dry, hardly any reverb. Great sound! Drums sound a little distant in the mix but it’s not bad. The mix is pretty dope!

Positive Comments: Reminds me of an older Elvis Costello sound then goes vaudeville. There are so many vibes and genre’s infused here… very interesting. This song is an extraordinary effort into the ‘art rock’ genre with everything else thrown in. There are no shortages of ideas here… at one point I hear Lenny Pickett blowing a sax solo then I am taken to Broadway… then the Rocky Horror Picture Show, all within 3:30. Great vocal performance and a brilliant example of ‘no limits’ musical arrangements. Let’s also point out all the amazing programming that went into this song.

Constructive Comments: Mix feels very thin with too much high end eq boosts. I am feeling that the genre should not be blues but instead “unique”. This song does have elements of blues it is so cross pollinated with other extreme style varieties that either “show tunes” or “unique” would suit it better. The drum part was done well although I did miss some live elements in the arrangement. Great job and thank you for taking risks and bring the surprises!!

Positive Comments: Great recorded sounds, clean tracks. Kind of Creedence meets Larry Carlton. Really nice playing and musicianship. Love the breakdown around 2 minutes. The song maintains a level of control and maturity throughout. Snare drum is popping, the drum sound is great…. also the attention to detail in the guitar tone etc. is very good.

Constructive Comments: Maybe the hook could be stronger…. or use a grungier sound for the melody. No real solid theme jumping out to me making me sing it after the song is done but that’s hard to do with an instrumental. Song felt more like a controlled jam rather than a song with a strong melodic statement, if you’re going for more commercial acceptance I think a simple melody repeated between the solos would help.

Positive Comments: Enjoyable song about love from the lord. I enjoyed the different descriptions of how the love makes you feel “rising up in me” and other nice embodiments and sentiments of love. Nice pretty intro guitar and vocals matched the mood and flavor of the song

Constructive Comments: The instrumentation while performed fine, sounded a little generic. Not sure if it was all “prefab” or standard default instruments. I would have loved to hear maybe a violin or some other distinguishing sounds in there. Still very well done but some other instruments that would stand out more would be an added bonus, in my opinion.
