Positive Comments: Very 1980s. Good hook (Cold as Ice) certainly ear worm potential here!

Constructive Comments: Less a modern 80s track like The Weekend, and sounds like a legit recording from the 80s. Bass is way too punchy and present in the mix. I can’t tell if it’s a kick or the bass I’m hearing half the time. I wasn’t even alive in the 80s, but I love the sound. Unfortunately this feels like a home studio demo from quite some time ago. There is a lot of potential but it has a way to go! (In my opinion)

Positive Comments: That acoustic is so 90s alternative. Makes me feel young again haha. So good! Quality of the recording is amazing too. Lyrics are great, universally relatable but personal. Gives me Shinedown vibes. Vocals are on point! Country, Rock, Pop. Great voice! I forgot to notice there wasn’t much else but you and your guitar — that’s a very good sign.

Constructive Comments: Despite a few fours, I don’t really have any criticism. Solid acoustic track here.

Positive Comments: That acoustic riff grabbed me right away! I love it! The cello/contra bass, swells so perfectly! Very mood. The harmonica! What an atmosphere! So good!

Constructive Comments: Vocals need a lot of work. Giving me a bit of a Rod Stewart vibe here, and despite his success, I feel it’s important to be mindful how much harder it is to break into the scene that way.

Positive Comments: I feel you captured the decade of this sound very well. The brass is absolutely exceptional! Catchy too! I can hear those horns being sampled for an EDM track. Somehow very iconic! The use of panning is very effective. Sounds like a live set– good mixing!

Constructive Comments: Grain of salt, I don’t listen to this type of music. I feel the lead vocals could be better, sounds a bit like “talking” than singing in a lot of sections.

Positive Comments: I love the chord progression and use of orchestration. The drums are also very interesting. Vocals remind me of a lot of 70’s ballads, the whole track feels like I’m in ’74 in the best of ways. What a vibe!

Constructive Comments: It’s often difficult to balance commercialism with originality. I feel like I’ve heard this song before, and don’t feel it’s all too original…but, it is very good at what it’s trying to be!

Positive Comments: This song deserves 5 stars because it is so darn funny and true. I’ve never quite hears it put in this format, but I really enjoyed it and believe it’s a good message. The instrumentation is very well played from top to bottom. The guitar work is top notch.

Positive Comments: Love the two electric guitar tracks as they lay down some spot on classic Blues with a gritty style that reminds me a bit of ZZ Top. I have always liked instrumentals as this allows the artist to showcase their true talent. There’s a lot of that in this fine tune. Best of luck to you!

Constructive Comments: The drumming was not up to par with the guitar work. A powerful drummer could really put this song over the top in my opinion.

Constructive Comments: Drums are way too far in the back when the BIG kick and claps. A bass guitar, stand up or even a synth wouldn’t hurt some where to give the recording even more character. I’d put a overdrive guitar at the end to spice it up even more.
