Positive Comments: This sounds a lot like a several friends I occasionally jam with here in Columbus. Ohio! A very familiar blusey sound that happens every Monday night in Gahanna’s Dolphin Lounge! Very nostalgic yet original and raw! Not 1 dull moment in this song.
Constructive Comments: While I love the sax, I wish it would’ve laid back during the singers verses to give that vocal and the lyrics a chance to have the spot light completely. Same with a few instruments, find a more simplified way of continuing the groove without potential clouding up the verses. I was also anticipating a guitar solo in there somewhere and maybe have both sax and guitar do a couple lines harmonized together. That would’ve REALLy snatched my ears! Still a nice classic bluesey R&B track though!
