Positive Comments: This definitely fits within the style of experimental as you have brought in a variety of melodies, instruments and rhythms. I particularly like the Far Eastern feel I get when listening to this track.

Constructive Comments: The track doesn’t get in its entirety. Because you are using so many different melodies, instruments and rhythms, I don’t get a sense of structure – i.e. verse/chorus. Additionally, a recognisable hook is missing.

Positive Comments: Perfect for the genre. I bet this artist is great live also. A decent song also. Excellent. Country fans would explore this artist and go to see them live, when possible. Great vocal. Fiddles are a great addition.

Positive Comments: A full on Country, electric band version of a tune. Vocal ideal for the genre. A good song that draws in the listener to want to see the band live or buy a CD etc.

Positive Comments: An excellent performance that delivers the tune, the lyrics and meaning of the song. It captures the genre of country (Americana) and is a humble/rough and ready recording at times – that suits the genre. I really like it. There are some great, legendary, vocalists in this style of music and the vocalist here can be proud that they have done the business.

Constructive Comments: I would like to hear more from this artist. I hope they continue with a humble sound rather than change or explore an over produced one. The recording itself could be done ‘better’ but would anything be improved? Good Americana.

Positive Comments: A very interesting artist, that makes you want to listen to more (to find out more about their experimental sound within a folky delivery). Importantly, it is rare to review a song that makes you think and makes you reflect on the issues that the lyrics deliver.A passionate vocal, delivered with meaning…good arrangement.

Constructive Comments: This recording works to deliver the concepts, song and lyrics going on here, an earthy folky feel…the vocal is even a bit ‘world music’…a lot going on…well done. To say it needs a clearer recording may be at odds with what was intended anyway.
