Positive Comments: Sounded like a real, albeit small band. The periodic tempo changes were a nice touch. Sounded vaguely military. The cymbal hit/drum rolls at the start set the stage and drew my attention immediately.

Constructive Comments: Well I can certainly hum the hook in my head after the song ended (and perhaps for the next hour or two.) If that is what you hoped, congratulations, but I really hoped the tune would expand or change somehow and then come back an even larger hook for the finish. Perhaps start with flutes and work your way up to the brass and drums.

Positive Comments: What a bouncy, lilting, catchy tune! The carnivalesque organ, like Rod Argent, catches the theme and mood of the lyrics. Lyrically fun, revealing, kind of like a shot of truth serum…could something as enjoyable as this also be called brain food? This is superb songwriting! Once again, there’s lots of room for songs that have melodies with catchy pop hooks, and this song certainly has that.

Constructive Comments: Did someone mention too much reverb??? What a tiny, miniscule infraction based on personal taste. That’s nitpicking in my book and should not influence the rating of the song. The song sounds just fine. Sit back and enjoy the fact that you wrote a terrific song!
