Positive Comments: Very cute song…. And you mentioned a cat, that was perfect!! I really love the freedom of this song… how the tempo drops out and then you pick it back up. Like you have your friends over telling stories with a banjo, acoustic and fiddle. I just love this song, it has me humming along and enjoying your little diddie. I am most enjoying your vocal treatments. This is exactly what I want to hear when I review in “Folk”. Splendid from top to bottom…. IIII waaaaaant toooooo…. Move out to the country… Sittin on a porch swing… somethin with a cat. Brilliance in simplicity, delivery and story.
Constructive Comments: I wanted to hear a washboard and maybe a bass drum and castinettes every so often. Thee lack of percussion was a slight drawback. Even hand claps and random vocal interjections (I heard a few). I have to just say thank you for the smile on my face and the bounce in my gait.
