Song: SHE’S GONE

Positive Comments: Well-written song with stylish recording. This has a lot more elements of Folk than Country Rock, but it’s a rock solid listen regardless. The singer’s voice even has an R&B edge so it’s very hard to classify. Instruments and dynamics are strong too. Just a nice piece all the way around.

Constructive Comments: For me, not much to change but I think “Country Rock” is probably the wrong category to get the right ears on this. Folk Country might be closer to the truth.

Positive Comments: Very catchy! I like the music and the hook. Also it is biblically accurate. I like the claps during the chorus, you could even bring them up in volume a little bit more to solidify the beat. Great job!

Constructive Comments: I try to maintain honest feedback so that we can help each other get better. That being said, I think a quality demo singer could help to elevate this song even further. The vocal has a nice Bob Dylan quality to it, but I think that with this song a clean soaring vocal would put it over the top. Also I think slowing it down just a tiny bit and making it a gospel style praise song would also be a beautiful option, but I don’t think it’s necessary. Great job!

Positive Comments: Simply put, this is a well constructed acoustic love song. Great vocals and guitar work. Simple and to the point, well done.

Constructive Comments: (An option) After the first verse around the 1:05 market “bring in the band”, adding drums and bass may open up a larger market for the song. Keeping this acoustic version and re-recording a half electric version. Otherwise, it was a great song, wouldnt change a thing to this recording.

Positive Comments: Excellent singing! I like the beat and the tempo of the song.

Constructive Comments: I think this is a good song, but I wouldn’t classify it as Rock – Religious, I think I would put it somewhere closer to Folk – Religious. I did have an issue with one lyric, I think it’s debatable whether God will let you jump over a wall. I get the point and that it’s just kind of a fun song, but I don’t think it’s biblically accurate. Great job!

Positive Comments: Great song, really liked the doubled vocals and the sound of the big toms during the drum fills. It really enhanced the recording. Just a classic folk country song that’s well executed and really tugs on the heart strings. Great job.

Constructive Comments: You definitely have a voice and feel in your singing that you can not hit a note and it still work. I heard on high note you didn’t quite get, but feel like you could utilize the lower register in your voice more (which you may in other songs). Well produced and done.

Positive Comments: What a fun piano driven pop song. Great underlying 80’s vibe as well. I liked the tempo change-ups at the beginning and then near the end, really helped booked the feelings expressed. Fun song, great potential.

Constructive Comments: I think your intro would be stronger if you focused on piano more. The synth strings seem disconnected to the rest of the song. Vocal performance is good not great, a few inconsistencies especially on the first half of the shouted out “ohhhh’s” or Woahs. Kinda feels like you were holding back

Positive Comments: Great instrumentation and pulsing beat. Was not expecting a female lead singer and WOW! she delivers. Unique lyrics and material. Song really drew me in and got me nodding my head. Well done.

Constructive Comments: Machine gun effect, meh wasn’t crazy for it and distracts from the rest of the song. Great mix overall, thought the intro was a bit long at :48 seconds. I understand the slow build, but without a definitive solo or stronger lead guitar work, it just seems about 15-20 seconds too long for a pop song.

Positive Comments: Finally some dubstep that has quality lyrics and song behind it. This is really something to behold. Well done, That breakdown at 2:12, classic dubstep, great job. I really feel like you took the best parts of techno and blended them into this song.

Constructive Comments: Definitely feels like a techno song with some dubstep mixed in. Production and beat are fine, I think you could build on that bass drop in the middle and incorporate it in other spots, remix and make this a 5-7min long club track.
