Positive Comments: Fun song with lots of interesting vocal harmonies and interplay. Quirky in a good way. The lyrical melody has good treats for the ears. The horn play is very fun and reminds me of the 1960’s which is an interesting coupling with the cell phone imagery. Nice vocals, the rap could come up a bit. The mix has good separation, clear, and clean. not bad at all.
Constructive Comments: Musically: I think the track starts out big and stays there. Consider a sense of musically “building” (adding in instruments as you go along) so that by the time the chorus gets there, it’s like a breath of fresh air. you might also think about adding some atmospheric space so that the track can breath for a moment, then com back in with the kick or whole band.Lyrically: Fun but short. She’s taking selfies, she meets a new guy and rubs it in her old boy friends’ face…repeat. I know she thinks she’s a spy, as do others, but why? Perhaps, expand on that idea.I hope my humble 2 cents keeps inspiration flowing. Keep it coming!!!
