Positive Comments: This isn’t a genre I normally listen or understand how to make. I imagine the goal was a kind of lounge music like I’ve seen in some period films. You captured that smoky room, chill back of the room sound. I can almost see suits, and fedoras, whiskey glasses. When audio makes you see, that’s a very good thing! I like that this is all live. Right? No VST instruments? IT has this raw, true sound I am learning I miss making and hearing. Love this! I like the piano and (accordion)?? There was a lot of classic “big band oomph!” Awesome!! ^_^

Constructive Comments: Song length is a fickle thing. If you listen to some of my live music, it’s way too slow, and around 4-5 mins long. However, whenever I go to the “studio” I try to hover around 3mins. Radio and placements prefer this greatly. Check out The Exchange by Torres. Over 7 mins long, just a live acoustic guitar and vocals. However, it’s like hearing a story. Even the silence says something. Sometimes, there’s so much instrumentation section in your track, I forget that there were lyrics a little while ago. It feels a little awkward. Some odd mixing choices, like the shaker, just pounding away in the right channel nearly the whole time. Vocals are good, but the chorus or whatever VFX put on them takes away from this comforting live performance found in the instruments.

Constructive Comments: Would have enjoyed a short intro, felt like I opened the bar door and the band was already playing (not a bid thing, but…) I do think the snare was too hot, and thin as compared to the attack attitude of the other instruments. And also, would have like to have heard more tone/pitch on the bass. Keep Jammin’
