Song: Ba Loo Loo, My Lammie

Reviewer: Kate Carpenter

Positive Comments: If you want to be transported into the nursery corner of a quaint little cottage in Ireland and envision a young mother rocking her baby and singing her to sleep in an old wooden rocker, this is your song. The bagpipe introduction is gentle and perfect, effortlessly moving into a keyboard arrangement, joined by a beautifully authentic vocal. I could see this used in a movie! Great job!

Constructive Comments: Delta, ever so beautiful! Keep up the good work, girlfriend! MK

Song: Everybody

Positive Comments: Driving beat with lots of repetition. This song certainly has a memorable hook. Vocal is driving and dynamic mix is great. Instrumentation and production tight. Slower than most rap artists – gives the listener a chance to discern the words better.

Constructive Comments: I have no idea what the message of this song is all about. Maybe because I’m over 60? I am sure the stuttering was intentional. Are you saying, “everybody doowop your hands – this is what I do” Just wondering if I am hearing right. Please post the lyrics that would help. A bit too much repetition for my liking, but rap is definitely not my genre I’m out of my league here.

Song: 28 DAYS IN TUSCON

Reviewer: Bob Birthisel

Positive Comments: This immediately struck me as a Dr. Hook song, light and fun with an easy to follow storyline. It rings all the Classic/Pop/Rock bells for me, even though it’s listed as Blues Rock (which I think for of as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, etc.). Other than categorization it was a toe-tapping good listen all around. I think this would be a concert favorite played live.

Constructive Comments: The sound strikes me as very retro, which may well be intentional. As mentioned Dr. Hook was an immediate influence and that’s some years back. But very much a crowd-pleaser….well done!
