Positive Comments: Great drum beat. Very complex, but not overly complex that it distracts from the rest of the song. the build up of instruments and complexity that starts at 1:07 (adding the bass drum around 1:39), nice slow build. Nice rhythm and melody overall. Solid positive vibe.

Constructive Comments: The sound of the fingers sliding up and down the guitar to change chords doesn’t fit. It seems like its added in to create a certain vibe. I found it distracting. At first I thought it needed lyrics to really “pop” but I’m not as sure now, it holds its own pretty well.

Positive Comments: Starting at 1:58 to about 2:14, solid part, really enjoyed the “calm” after the much more hectic part before. I feel that this song would really work as an opening credits theme to a film. Either in a sci-fi or a civil war type film. It sounds very militaristic battle march with the strong snare and bass drum.

Constructive Comments: If you were looking to make the song longer, you could finish (add about 10-15 seconds) by circling back to to :30 to about 45 second part (before the piano run), or any other part that has less instrumentation. If using in a film (specifically opening credits), the credits would need a bit of an abrupt stop in order to fit perfectly.

Positive Comments: Great opening, very “Bowie” sounding lead singer. Lyrics are solid, great tempo and the saxophone solos. I like how the song is bookended by the train, it fits (what I assume the title to be). Overall a pretty solid track, really not much work needed.

Constructive Comments: Drums sound a bit manufactured, very 80’s drum machine. It works, I would have used a deeper snare and bit longer sustain on the cymbal crashes. Overall not much to complain about, its a solid, tight mix.

Positive Comments: The vocal inflection and overall lyrics are solid. Not a style of music I usually listen to, but is entertaining and with a little work on the mastering side, can easily be placed in various licensing opportunities.

Constructive Comments: The accordion is pretty high and inconsistent in the mix, it gets a bit overpowering. I recommend trying to balance it a bit better with the vocals, at times it really becomes overpowering. That is the only reason for the lower score in the “recording” column .

Positive Comments: Nice smooth groove….. like the horn parts…adding a different feel…. smooth jazz… octave vocal harmony is nice with reg. harmonies….

Constructive Comments: a good groove and the sax is very smooth ….. it might be nice to have a bit of a change in melody…different bridge or…? too break it up just a bit….. but it is a nice steady groove…
