Positive Comments: I like it when a melody moves and develops in interesting ways. This one does, with some conventional passages followed by an unusual chord, rhythm change up. Very nice. What a fine voice the singer has too. The song doesn’t have a lot of range, or require high notes that I noticed, but this singer is blessed with a very nice set of pipes. Bit of Carole King feel in the piano support.

Constructive Comments: The melody is pleasant enough, but for me the chorus doesn’t ‘pop’. I like how it ends on an interesting chord choice, but that also leaves a feeling of “that’s it?” when it just returns to the main verse. The lyric idea or theme is fine, but I did find a couple phrases kind of awkward. That’s a very subjective thing though.
