Broadjam Artist: Jay Gross
Song: Jodi
Reviewer: Bob Birthisel
Positive Comments: This is a retro sound for sure, very 70s pop radio in the vein of “Honey” by Bobby Goldsboro. The songwriting is simple, nice vocal and the modest piano is just right. If only the recording quality matched!
Constructive Comments: If you have a better file, re-upload it. This sounds like a cassette that was left in a hot glove compartment all summer, with dropouts and distortion. The song deserves better and if you don’t have a better version I’d strongly suggest re-recording it. Overall it has nice potential but it gets crushed under all that wobbly distortion.
