Positive Comments: A very peaceful lovely song. Arrangement is terrific. The melody is memorable. Lovely, soft, angelic voice. The orchestration gives it a more New Age feel than traditional folk but I wouldn’t consider that to be an important point. No matter what style, I listen to the melody, if it is catchy and unique, and consider if the lyrics fit the feel of the melody. It works very well in this song.

Constructive Comments: I really have to listen to the lyrics as they are not enunciated clearly enough for me. I wouldn’t take that seriously. I have to look at a lyric sheet for most songs I hear! No need to get back in the studio!

Positive Comments: Oh yes 3/4, thank you. Nice sounding duet, the guitar is full and beautifully eq’d if at all. The vocal tone is natural and pure… intonation is very precise. I don’t understand Spanish but the song sounds traditional as it be in an old movie. Such a beautiful vocal performance and the guitar playing is perfect. Fantastic!

Constructive Comments: The recording seems like it could be ok but mixing of the vocalist is problematic. There are audible pops and’lip smack’ on the singers performance in many places.. this brings down the professional quality and distracts any critical listener off of your song and onto the production of your song. This sounds like an early recording so I understand maybe not having access to such technologies just keep it in mind moving forward. Guitar slightly out of tune really noticeable on the last chord.

Positive Comments: Nice full sounding mix, the balance is good. Cool tricks, breakdown in the second verse then bring the groove, that works. The guitar loop prominent in the intro and breakdowns is really nice, I see how you can write a whole song around just that.

Constructive Comments: Song about dancing and hanging at an event for me not engaging but it is a party vibe song so this theme is perfect! Lead vocal is a little low in the first verse or lacks a little ‘presence’ especially compared to 1:07 when the vocals become very loud. It’s a nice contrast however the vocal in the second verse does sound nicer, brighter and a better than the first verse. (“flowers in her hair” example of too low) noticeable from :26 to :30. Keep monitoring these presentation details.. Vocal intonation could be better.

Positive Comments: A little boogie music for Santa! Nice arrangement and solid playing. The singer has a cool timbre.

Constructive Comments: This wonderful singer sounds like he was singing into a cardboard box. I don’t know if that was intentional or not, but it didn’t really float my boat. I’d go back and redo it if I was him…with a good mic and pre-amp.

Positive Comments: Loving that lead guitar! Nice. The vocals are great though and have this sort of rustic late 60’s Bob Dylan vibe to them which totally fit the genre.

Constructive Comments: This song is hard to rate for market potential, because you just don’t know what may pop up where it would fit. But to make it more marketable, make sure you have one instrumental-only version ready to go (and remixed). It could work like this, but maybe try having it remixed so that the instruments fill in the hole where the vocal used to be. Just my take… I love the track.

Positive Comments: Well gotta say didn’t expect this. It’s like polka meets Bob Dylan.

Constructive Comments: This may have a market somewhere not sure. The timing seems off and truthfully speaking vocals are off. Does make for a good comedy intervention piece. I do see potential in the lyrics and in the music just not combined. Maybe if it had different instrumentation it would have better appeal.
