Positive Comments: production of this track is first rate – love the stereo ponging of the rhodes. Snare is so warm with just enough verb.Vocal track is strong – nice harmonies – judicious and perfectly placed giving the 2nd verse some kick sonically.haunting melody with nice vocal phrasing – the b section before the chorus with the chord progression works really well.

Constructive Comments: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it – this track is very, very solid.

Reviewer: paul sandberg

Positive Comments: some nice lyrical content – basic track is effectively haunting – placement of the guitar in the mix is spot on.

Constructive Comments: the vocal track can use some love – the expression is there, but it is a bit pitchy and seems a bit shrill during the chorus – perhaps some judicious EQ around 3 mhz and boosting the bottom end of the vocals would help.a very original and interesting track.

Constructive Comments: not a fan of the vocal fx.the repeated lyric is a nice gimmick, once, but not every 2nd line of every verse.otherwise – this song is very strong – and really, the things I didn’t care for are just my own personal feelings towards them.

Positive Comments: I listened to this several times it was so good. Great vocal and great recording of said vocal. The Mix is perfect…melody…interesting lyrics…who uses “agenda”? Kind of a Del Amitri sound, but original on it’s own. Thanks much….look forward to hearing more of your stuff.

Constructive Comments: Still can’t make out the name of the person…thought it was Billy at first…then “Ari”…then I gave up and didn’t really care any more.

Positive Comments: Joe Walsh would be proud, but probably sing it better…lol Seriously, really fine instrumentation on this with a very memorable hook. Lyrics a bit cryptic but that’s why you need an “Answer man” right?

Constructive Comments: Wasn’t sure if the vocalist was trying to be Weird Al or Joe Walsh…I think if you softened that vocal and brought down a bit it wouldn’t sound like you were singing to a bed…

Constructive Comments: Maybe boost the vocals just a touch. Outside of that not much. I realize as an artist we are not putting out the finished product otherwise why use this. so Good job!

Constructive Comments: The vocal fell a bit flat for me, but maybe surrounding harmonies would add a touch of sweetness. I still enjoyed listening.

Song: Doing It

Reviewer: John Walradt

Positive Comments: Straight fives: terrific sleazy punk, served up quick, sloppy with big portions like punk should be! Kind of like Black Flag. Gravely voices, fuzzy guitars as if played with three chords but we all know you’re going up and down the fretboard. Punchy notes. Melodically, it’s memorable with a good hook, and that makes a difference. Nice job!

Constructive Comments: It’s hard to come up with something here. Maybe experiment with bringing the volume up on the voice in comparison with the guitars. But that’s personal taste, and when I say experiment, I mean just play around to see if you like it or not. You’re the ultimate judge on that.
