Broadjam Artist: James Hamilton
Song: let’s reminsce awhile

Reviewer: Nigel Barrett

Positive Comments: Great vocal performance on this. Really liked the chorus piano at the beginning. Very 80’s feel which I liked. Reminded me of some tracks by Heatwave.

Constructive Comments: The piano part for me should change in approach during the various parts of the song. The single note chords were great for the intro but the same style of playing left me wanting more. You could really change up the playing style to give more listener interest.

Positive Comments: Reminds me of a mix between The Smiths and the B52’s.

Constructive Comments: Needs tightening up. The overall sound is poor also, lacking dynamic. Old recording?

The “Religious” came in towards the end of the song and made sense. The vocals and instrumentation were well suited for this song and the lyrics had a storyline, which is what is needed to keep a listener engaged .

Constructive Comments: I don’t really have anything constructive to add.
