Constructive Comments: there are some tempo fluxuations in the middle of the songthe vocal could be eq’d better (more bottom end, 200-400 hz)Vocalist seems to be not supporting his voice during the first verse and chorus – gets stronger later.some of the words get swallowed – perhaps ride the fader morefrom the 3:00 mark the vocals become very pitchy.overall there’s some nice things going on here that, with some polish, could stand out.

Positive Comments: Meaty beefy solid track. Grabbed my attention from the outset. Sweet bass licks and brass stabs. No idea if they are real neither do I care – music snobs cry foul on here for a synthetic instrument – if it fits and it’s got a groove it works for me. Love that electro funk synth bass and then those SOS Band/Roger Troutman. Love it from start to finish – wish I had your sound library! You know Zapp? It Doesn’t Really Matter. Check that track out if you don’t know it already.

Positive Comments: Slick bass riffs here and there a la Jam/Lewis – always good to hear that sort of thing. Low score from me for market potential but only because it’s so 80’s (like a lot of my own stuff) – the BEST era!

Constructive Comments: Only thing that let this great track down for me was the patch used for the rhythm track – a bit fat and distorted almost? Would prefer a slick 80’s R808 sound or similar.
