Positive Comments: love the mix, good instrumentation and cool guitar work throughoutArrangement works well with a nice chord structure and nice resolution to the song.Very Knoffleresque and there’s nothing wrong with that!

Constructive Comments: maybe, just maybe the vocals could be just slightly further back in the mix, but that’s probably just niggling on my part….fine track, kudos!

Positive Comments: nice beat and infectious lyrics – a nice sing song good time feel to the song

Constructive Comments: some of the piano riffs are a tad sloppy and there are some meter inconsistencies with the instruments.opening verse vocal is a bit pitchythe mix could be tighter overall with some judicious eq on the vocal tracksthe vocal verses with the fx at 1:33 and 2:16 are waaay back in the mix making it hard to hear.with some polish this tune could be a winner.

Song: Manners Rap

Reviewer: Nigel Barrett

Positive Comments: I never usually review anything from the rap genre as I am not a fan at all but I was pleasantly surprised by this. Great bass playing again! I think I recognise the artist! Great lyrics and sentiment. This is very good – down to the chugging little keyboard that is stabbing away in the background.

Constructive Comments: Nothing really to add, except this – with absolutely NO disrespect to the artist singing here – with a more modern vocal sound this could really be a smash.

Song: Friends Don’t Let Friends Drive Everyone Crazy

Reviewer: paul sandberg

Positive Comments: nice production strong hook good guitar solo vocals are nice as well.

Constructive Comments: the word “drive” in the first 2 choruses seems a bit swallowed.the lyrics seem to be sending a conflicted message – on one hand telling the guy to be himself, and on the other criticizing him for being who he is….

Positive Comments: interesting lyrics cool shadings and nice bit of sax work.

Constructive Comments: I like the effect on the vocals at the beginning, but feel the song would be more effective if it was dropped after the first verse – that way it would further emphasize the “reflection” aspect of the lyrics. The poppy instrumental breaks seem to come from a different song entirely – breaking the mood of the song for me.Some of the vocal lines seem a bit out of rhythmthe fade out is quite abrupt – I would have liked to hear the sax take over at the end for a long fade.

Positive Comments: wonderful production, stellar instrumentation, cool little intro guitar lick. Nice dynamics. Doubled vocals are very powerful.I feel like this is a very interesting mash up – part Evenescence, part Crissy Hynde, part Beyonce. Lyrics are interesting .

Constructive Comments: some of the vocal delivery is a bit over dramatic but otherwise this is a terrific track that obviously was shown a lot of love.

Song: Wonder Boy

Reviewer: Ian Graham

Positive Comments: Bright, bouncy song about love, shyness and doubts. Strong, sustained beat behind a well-pitched vocal.

Constructive Comments: I put “pop” because it seemed to fit the song a little better than folk, and might take you to the “right” audience. But I’m not keen on categorising music, and it’s a good song, well sung. Good luck with it.
