Song: Falling Away
Reviewer: paul sandberg
Positive Comments: love the guitar work and the guitar tone – very understated Knoffleresque. The lyrics are very nice, although, while I understand the vision of rain dripping off of a petal like it was melting, I was a bit taken back by the idea of rain melting…the recording is solid and really liked the ending of the song.the harmony vocals are really nice as well
Constructive Comments: the beat itself seems quite cliche and worn to me – like I’ve heard that rhythm 100 times before – not that it doesn’t work and isn’t effective, just that it gives me a been there, heard that feel, while the rest of the song makes me pay attention.
