Positive Comments: This is a really nice guitar groove, more funk than rock. I enjoyed the rich tone on the un-fuzzed guitars most of all, but it’s just a solid piece. I could see this in a film/tv backdrop setting. Nice dynamic changes as well.

Constructive Comments: Only thing I’d change is the open hi-hat panned all the way to 1 side, which I found totally distracting (I always listen on studio headphones). Otherwise, excellent stuff. A quick re-mix could easily remedy that.

Positive Comments: This is a very uplifting, beautiful song. I love the instrumental arrangement. I love the exquisite, soaring melodies. I want to listen to it again!

Constructive Comments: I think the vocals need a slight bit more work. I think it should be classified as Pop – Easy Listening, and not Pop – General.

Positive Comments: Strange amalgamation of simple music with that Johnny Cash/Elvis vocal treatment. I love the sparseness of just the two guitars.

Constructive Comments: Nice surprise! Thanks for not letting more instruments get in the way.

Positive Comments: Nice lead guitar licks. Nice addition and mix of the female vocal.

Constructive Comments: There are a couple places where it seems like too much lyric is being squeezed into the space. For example – instead of “sixteen cars and counting” maybe “seven cars and counting” would sound better to the ear and be smoother on the tongue to sing.

Song: Head On Down The Road

Positive Comments: Very atmospheric piece with a blues background. Very clean recording with smooth instrumentation and a solid vocal. I really enjoyed this from start to finish.

Constructive Comments: I would like to have heard a little more differential in the turnaround, whether that be a few guitar licks or an obvious chord progression change to mix it up a little. Still, really good tune.
