Song: Thank God For The Dreamers (Mix 1)

Positive Comments: Very nice sound, and I could see this in the setting of a Hallmark movie or similar. The message is very good, vocal on pitch and the recording is clear and clean. Definitely categorized correctly as Easy Listening Pop. I enjoyed it.

Constructive Comments: A couple of things. For a song stretching to 4:43 it would be nice to hear expanded instrumentation like bass guitar/drums, etc. to give it a ton more depth. Also for me, the backing vocals sounded like an afterthought, not planned as real harmonies for the most part. With slight tweaks this could really catch a Music Supervisor’s ear, as it’s an enjoyable listen for sure.

Positive Comments: Nicely done. Layering the vocals is a nice touch. Love how you’re not afraid of coasting the melody…and the instrumentation moving with it. You know how to write a song. Lovoe your voice. I hear this being more Pop but there is a cross-over with Rock.

Constructive Comments: So very well done. I wouldn’t have done a fade out. I would go harder with the drums. Although you’re voice is so wonderful I woould sing with much more emotion, you sing well enough that you could pull it off.

Constructive Comments: More vocalists, some harmony would be nice. When you change up, you do it perfectly…more would be better. Even changing up the tempo more. Just my taste. Nicely done.

Positive Comments: This has a definite African/Caribbean feel to it. Almost R&B in the beginning though it changes halfway through. Well-played instruments and an interesting concept overall, this could be found in the right film scene as a musical backdrop. An enjoyable listen for sure and I loved the originality of the piece.

Constructive Comments: It’s a tad long and the recording sounds a little old to me, not as clean as what a Music Supervisor would want, but maybe cleaning that up could really improve the sound. Well-written song though!

Positive Comments: Very nice reggae/ska groove. I think it would get more appropriate ears on it with re-categorization, but still it was very smooth and bright, and I could hear this in film or TV background very easily.

Constructive Comments: A more pronounced bass line would round out the sound, but very enjoyable track.

Constructive Comments: I’m more of a fan of real live musicians when it comes to drums, keys and bass–subjective, but I think that would kick things up a notch here.

Constructive Comments: I believe you’d better go back and re-master this. 1. The volume is extremely low. 2. It sounds muffled, even through my $1400 speakers.
