Song: You Got Me Into The Music
Reviewer: Bob Birthisel
Positive Comments: This is definitely Classic Rock with a Pop edge. Excellent guitar and rhythm section and the vocal works well too. The hook is very strong. I knew I was going to like this right from the semi-Prog-rock chords leading into the groove. Very nice and has strong potential for a retro sound if it’s cleaned up.
Constructive Comments: Unfortunately there is so much distortion – I’m guessing this was recorded on tape in the 80s? Such a nice song but any chance for commercial value would depend on somehow cleaning up the track or re-recording it. I really loved the overall feel but had to mark it down for a non-competitive sound in 2020.
