Positive Comments: I love instrumental music especially if it paints a picture or can take my mind to another place or time. This piece can make me stop what I am doing and my mind could go to another place another time. This piece of music could evoke emotions. Very nice

Constructive Comments: I love the arrangement, and the thoughts that are provoked, it feels as if this piece of music should be in a film. Very good. Not sure about a title, but I feel this music fits a sad moment or a sad part in a film, I also like that it is a nice length.

Song: one step

Reviewer: Bob Birthisel

Positive Comments: Extremely well recorded, with pristine sound on the guitars and bass. Has a Mark Knopfler feel and sound. The drums and percussion were a bit background-ish but played nicely, in tempo, and they kept the easy groove going. Instrument separation in the headphones was a treat. Great job.

Constructive Comments: The only thing I didn’t care for (at all) was the tinny keyboard sound which stood out as a negative compared to the beautiful mix on all the other instruments. It’s particularly noticeable at 3:21 moving forward. I’d suggest re-doing the keyboard with a more natural piano/organ sound, or completely leaving it out of the mix. The song is excellent without it.

Positive Comments: I love the lyrics, love the subject, lyrics lovely and clear, love the drum beat, lyrics flow, I can imagine cruising and this song playing, I can imagine this in the background while shopping, in fact this song would distract me from what I am doing as I would have to dance to it, this type of song has that beat that makes me want to move to it.

Constructive Comments: I am no expert but I can’t fault anything, I love the solo music piece, the drum and guitar are great, I get hooked by the beat, a song that I would be putting on repeat it just grabs my attention. The song sums up life today very fitting.

Positive Comments: Nice energy and there were some excellent dynamic changes. I particularly liked the chord progression which was interesting and unexpected. My favorite sound quality was the piano which really stood out.

Constructive Comments: Sounds a bit like a home recording for some reason. The mix wasn’t quite as clean as it might have been but I still enjoyed it a lot.
