Song: GONNA BE ON TIME!

Positive Comments: Very Eric Clapton” meets “BB King” ish. Like the raspy rockabilly vocals- solid guitar action. Love the wah wah performance- I like the lead vocalists feel and delivery- Background vocals were nice

Constructive Comments: Rhythm timing could be tightened up a bit and the vocals were sometimes hard to make out (but sometimes that’s not a bad thing) While I could roll with the feel of the track I was hoping to hear a little more dynamics (but that speaks to the mix as well). Recording and mix itself felt a little rough and would probably need to be updated or re-recorded live to really capture where you were going with this song. Overall good job

Positive Comments: This was very nice composition. The structure flowed very well. I’m hoping that you are submitting to sync opportunities as I could definitely hear this under a love story!- skilled performance- nice movements at 1:26- Very theatric and visual I like that your movements were not overly repetitive but still solidly structured and not abstract or disconnected!

Constructive Comments: The only thing that I could think of is simply added light string ensemble strategically placed or even a flute..That build 2:10-2:15. – very intense and would explode off the screen if orchestral arrangement added to it. Overall – well done!

Song: We Will Overcome

Reviewer: Tony Taylor – producer/songwriter

Positive Comments: Definitely a good cause- but unfortunately BroadJam doesn’t list a Gospel category as this obviously fits. – Love the intro- As more of a traditional gospel feel- Great harmonies on the B Vox at the vamp Overall a solid effort for gospel track (I grew up in this as well) 🙂

Constructive Comments: – Would suggest updated instrumentation unless you are going for a traditional gospel sound, which you have done a good job capturing. Otherwise – song dynamics to not be as predictable with the background vocals (breaking up the repetitive chorus a little to allow greater dynamics) maybe breaking it down a bit to allow the leads to be more expressive- First chorus maybe allowing the lead sing thru, and not bring in the choir until later to build to 2nd chorus. – But on that second chorus- this is where you would expect it to come in strong and then breaking down a little for the B section of the double chorus.
