Song: How’s The Weather Today/The Corey’s SAX

Reviewer: Jay Gross

Positive Comments: I like this song. Very catchy hook! Vocals are perfect for the song. Very unique song didn’t know how to catagorize it. Certainly has some potential in a movie, and of course on the weather channel.

Constructive Comments: I thought the lyrics were very well written however may not have been the most cohesive. As a unique quirky song it hits all high notes(excuse the pun) Very well done!

Positive Comments: Nice vocals like the background vocals, good instrumentation. I like the change at the end. Lrics were good as well.

Constructive Comments: Just thought you didn’t do the song justice. The music was too flat with little change until the end. This is not a knock I am saying the song would stand out more. Hard to tell what the hook was. Has some potential and overall a nice effort!

Positive Comments: The lyrics are very interesting obviously coming from a real life experience. At least it sounded like it. Great vocals and potentially beautiful song with some strings thrown in and buildup at the end. Love the piano playing.

Constructive Comments: I did not give this a perfect mark because I felt the hook was a touch below the rest of the song in terms of quality. Has some great potential. Just a thought it may be interesting to have a positive end by having the song build and the lyric taking a step towards moving forward with this girl he seems to have fallen in love at first sight. All in all a very good tune!

Song: Powerful Anthemic Rock – INSTRUMENTAL EDIT

Reviewer: rob colley

Positive Comments: This has loads of energy, and keeps moving forward well. The recording is very polished and professional. There is a nice balance between the instruments, with some great performances, especially on the guitars, but the rhythm section is just right too. The features of the composition are spot-on for the chosen genre. It would make a great underscore or stands alone very well as an instrumental.

Constructive Comments: I wonder if there is a vocal version of this, and if not it might be nice to make one? If it were to be a song with lyrics, it could maybe be extended a bit also. As it stands, there is, in my view, just the right amount of sectional contrast, and the quieter and sparser episodes provide respite without muddying the overall concept. I enjoyed listening to the track, thanks for sharing it.

Positive Comments: A thoroughly fun and enjoyable listening experience. From the quirky humorous lyrics and delivery from the singer to the bluesy slightly jazzy with a touch of 70’s funk instrumentation and vibe. There is definitely a Steely Dan influence swimming around in the vibe of the song and you just can’t go wrong with a little Steely Dan influence as long as it’s done well and with taste and this track most definitely has that. Good work!!

Constructive Comments: I almost didn’t listen to this song because I reviewed several other songs prior to hearing this one. I am glad that I pressed play. Hope I get a chance to review more songs by this artist!!!

Positive Comments: I like this track. It was a fun listen from start to finish. Some good n tasty blues guitar licks licking around without too much slobber. Guitar tones were good and the rhythm section (MIDI I am assuming) was nice and tight and left plenty of space for the guitar player to do his thang. I had several Favorite lyrics throughout the track but my very fav one was the one near the top of the track that said something about people talking but you’d rather listen to the sound of a Fire Bird. I couldn’t agree more even if I tried. I love the sound of my 67 Fire bird in the morning. If gold had a sound I think that’s what it would sound like to my ears.

Constructive Comments: Fun track. I hope to review more of your tunes in the future.
