Song: The Rain/Vocal by Eric Tyler

Reviewer: Groove Fondue

Positive Comments: Nicely done laid back tune. It’s got a beautiful retro feel to it. The instrumentation is very nice, the piano playing is beautiful. The lead vocal is perfect for the style. It’s very reminiscent of very best of the 40/50’s in style and approach. Well done!

Constructive Comments: I wouldn’t change anything, beautifully done!

Song: Hall the Oats to Van / Pop

Positive Comments: I loved the guitar, it had a very warm sound. The keys were nice but were a touch loud. I think I would like to hear this as a song with lyrics as I think it could do well with the right singer. I enjoyed the overall laid back vibe of this composition.

Constructive Comments: Can’t say much here. I found the ending a little abrupt, but everything else, I liked it.

Positive Comments: Nice blend of baroque instruments and I liked the organ/keyboard. Very relaxing, soothing tempo and song. This is good music for centering oneself, lowering blood pressure, or even meditation. I thought the length of song was perfect and it had some nice unexpected changes to if that made it even more interesting. Good job!

Constructive Comments: I am not able to add any constructive criticism to the song. The performance and mixing sounded just great. I am no versed enough in this genre to suggest anything.

Song: Why are there Fire Ants?

Reviewer: Randall Mark

Positive Comments: Beautiful crisp singing nicely accompanied by acoustic guitar in this playful, happy children’s song. I can easily see this being played in a church little kids’ group or in a camp fire setting. Flawlessly performed and well produced song.

Constructive Comments: Maybe with each verse adding another harmony so first verse solo, second verse with 2 part, and third verse with all the children joining in. Just an idea. Maybe that’s how it actually goes when performed live?
