Positive Comments: This has a very casio kind of sound to it, but done in a way that is quite pleasing to the ears, a sound that i liked more and more as it went on. The bass line is mixed very well too. I think this song has a very dated feel to it, but done in a way that it feels contemporary and almost as an homage to another time as oppossed to irrelevent. I am a big fan of the mix and it sounds like the feeling you were going for was perfectly realised with just the right amount of lo fi distortion to pull it all together. I could very much see an internet or mobile game picking a song like this up.

Constructive Comments: The only real negetive I have is that it took me a minute to see past this song as just feeling outdated with a bond like chromatic hook as an intro, but after about 30 seconds I was feeling the vibe of it, and really digging it by the end. It has a very nice full sound and awesome stereo image. Keep it up!!!

Positive Comments: I like the bass lines alot, very unique and melodic. The vox almost touch on roger waters/dave gilmour at times with a sax to match some of their tracks as well. This track has a very progressive feel to it with some interesting ideas and turns to it.

Constructive Comments: The mix shines at parts, especially the sax, but it has quite a lot of parts that are a bit harsh on the ears, not overly in a way that completely ruins the track, but taming them, in my opinion would be beneficial to the track. Good Luck!

Constructive Comments: The mix is very very rough and could not be submitted like this. Its possible to fix, but this would need a fair amount of work.

Positive Comments: Very nice vocals, very good recording of the vox too, i enjoy the feeling your trying to put across, and i think it was well exectuted. The harmonies add to the vocal fullness in a nice way. This song sounds to be like a contemporaryish take on a late 90s early 2000s track, which is an era i happen to love and you absolutely nailed the feel for it!

Constructive Comments: The mix is sharp. Not in pitch but in tone (as a guess 4k – 8k roughly). Overall the mix is good otherwise tho, with some parts being very good, but it needs ever so parts being toned down, especially when the synth comes in later in the song its a bit grating. But when the song is quieter that late 90s early 2000s sound is absolutely nailed and sounds lovely.

Positive Comments: It has a very ‘Monstercat’ Feel to it. Some of the hooks have really nice melodies, some have a bit of odd dissonance, but overall it gets the idea across, and there were only a handful of notes i would consider changing, but overall the feel and vibe is very much for what you are going for I think and it mostly hits!

Constructive Comments: The mix itself is good, but could possibly use a bit of automation on the limiter to give the drops a bit more value and oompth to them. Its not a bad mix by any means and is just a suggestion, but there seems to be a slight amount of bang missing around 150 to 500 hz, but again this is just personaly preference and that overall, the mix is very good and could be marketed, good luck!

Positive Comments: Its nice, it has a very 70s proggressive feel, it gives me like a steely dan kinda feel. I like it, I really like the lyrics ‘Flowers dont complain for fear they wont have rain’ The guitar playing fits the genre and style perfectly.

Constructive Comments: The mix is not contemporary, but it does fit the genre and feel of the song. The guitar and instrumentation really fits the feel well, the song feels very well thought out and put together, altough it is not contemporary, it would be perfect for things that are looking for 70s progressive era specific tracks, this would be perfect. Good luck!

Positive Comments: This is very hard to listen to, the general midi with the a mix that doesnt make sense is not pleasing. It could possibly be used in a childrens tv show, but would need quite a lot of work before that.

Constructive Comments: This song needs re thought. The idea is to be used in kids tv i imagine, but the sounds come out to just be grating and not very pleasing on the ears, with the mix sounding very unbalanced and the ideas not just coming together. But with enough work this may be ok for a small scale kids show possibly. good luck.

Positive Comments: Its a bit generic with a very flat mix, but there is lots of potential, i especially like when the bass briefly drops out, this adds movement and a bit of seperation. But the mix doesnt bring out any emotions, it just kind of pushes along, maybe less compression? And possibly a bit more variation in the song may help, but i do like the melody as the song moves forward, maybe just a remix is in order. Good luck!

Constructive Comments: As i said in the comments, it just needs to be mixed differently and possibly replace some of the more generic sounding midi instrumentation with some more comtemporary sounds, I do also like the more arabic melody type thing later on in, the chromatics add a bit a depth to the overall sound of things, and the break towards the end gives it space to bring it all back together.

Positive Comments: The beginning of the song really grabbed my attention. The subtle undertones of the organ and guitar really set a great stage. Very atmospheric, and I hear a lot of possibilities.

Constructive Comments: When the bongos/drums come in, for me it destroyed the feel that had been built, and later in the song the single high note on keyboard also doesn’t fit. Personal taste, but that’s what a review is. Lyrically I felt it was “out there” and I simply don’t get it. This could be remixed as a background instrumental that would give it much more commercial upside. The vocal was on pitch and everything, but the words got in the way of what started with amazing potential.
