Constructive Comments: Nothing negative as this is his art and as long as he loves it so do I!

Positive Comments: Nice vibe. Instrumentation is very nice. The instrumental solo and the harmonies accented the track nicely. Good job.

Constructive Comments: Needs a good mix and there were just a couple of places throughout that sounded a little off key but overall it’s a good song.

Positive Comments: This needs to be in some other category than Alternative Rock. It has good energy and is very interesting, just difficult to peg.

Constructive Comments: Maybe Electonica? Spoken Word since that’s the vast majority? This one pretty much lost me, as I listen to Alternative Rock all the time and never heard anything quite like this before. Sorry, on this one I just didn’t get it and at nearly 7-minutes commercial/market potential is way limited.

Song: Subliminal Messages

Reviewer: Bob Birthisel

Positive Comments: The energy is strong and I think this would work in a Lo-Fi or Electronic Music category. I enjoyed the varying dynamics in the song and the vocal was interesting and suited the song, even if not my particular taste in pitch and timbre.

Constructive Comments: The super-low-end distortion during “Subliminal” absolutely killed the song for me. It took a clean-ish sounding song and made it so muddy that I had to mark down much of the sound. Re-categorizing this would certainly help, as people would expect some level of distorion in Lo-Fi production.

Positive Comments: Really well-recorded and mixed on the instrumental parts. Good energy, good vibe, and overall it was an easy listen.

Constructive Comments: The vocal didn’t work for me – it seemed to not match the song or something, but that’s a matter of personal taste. I’d keep working on lyrics and keeping the vocal in tune.

Positive Comments: This reminds me of theme music from a Western, but I couldn’t classify it as Country. The overall vibe is sort of retro-cool in that way.

Constructive Comments: With the castanet sounds and the guitar strum lines straight out of a Clint Eastwood Western, I think you’d get better ears on this by moving it out of Rock and into another category.

Song: El Gato

Reviewer: Bob Birthisel

Positive Comments: The instrumentation on this sounds great, and sets a very solid tone throughout. I hear this as Country instead of Rock for sure with the Spanish references. The vocal is good.

Constructive Comments: For me, the marketability is in the instrumental version of this song as it would be excellent for TV/Film scene background. The lyrics severely limit radio and commercial potential in my opinion.

Positive Comments: Beautiful lyrics. I like the way the song starts with only the vocals. It’s very musical-like. The song sounds better with every time I hear it. That speaks of a great unique musical craftsmanship.

Constructive Comments: For my ears the beginning of the Chorus is a bit too loud in relation to the rest of the song. I had a bit problems to follow the C-Part of the song starting at 2:43.

Positive Comments: The instrumentation is fine and the song has good energy.

Constructive Comments: This is not Rock. It’s maybe Pop but would probably be better suited in the Unique/Comedy category. Lyrically that’s the only place I can see this having marketability.

Positive Comments: It feels like walking in a spring landscape, where everything grows and gets new life. It would be good for a TV / Film Opportunity, but also as a Video Game Soundtrack. Good Work!

Constructive Comments: For a Video Game Soundtrack it would be great to have several Movements of one great theme. Maybe it would be helpful to have several songs that fit together
