Positive Comments: This sounds like an experiment on a theme, instrumentally and in concept. The disjointed notes are unsettling, but I regard that as a successful venture, as that comes across to me as the intention. It gets the mood across. The studio work is well done.

Constructive Comments: If this comes across as biased, uninformed, and unnecessarily critical, you are absolutely right! I probably don’t know what I’m talking about in this section. The piece is not easy to follow as a New Age meditation piece to me would be. It’s unsettling: the keyboards are sometimes not too clear, as if lacking in confidence, or too choppy, the strings dart at you and sting. I’m used to, Ray Lynch, David Lanz, Spencer Brewer, Liz Story: soft, flowing, peaceful in the New Age genre. The good news: to really be onto something, you gotta do what you’re doing despite what people like me say and go with what you really believe and want.

Positive Comments: Great, great lyrics! Hot damn, it’s great to see someone who can write something meaningful in a new way. Melody works very well…it goes along with the mood of the lyrics and is easy to follow. Excellent musicianship, much more prowess than I could hope to possess. I admire that. Instruments sound like it could be used as a theme in a western cowboy movie but it works well…beautifully, in fact. Lots of punch.

Constructive Comments: Just personal taste here…I think you could turn up the volume on the vocals and bring down the instruments just a bit. That’s up to you because you know what you’re doing!

Positive Comments: This is a terrific album cut, the kind of song that would get significant airplay without being a single. The guitar playing drew me right in along with a good haunting hooky melody. The lyrics seem rather common, sometimes bordering on cliche, yet in this song they work well. Excellent vocals and recording prowess two things I don’t do well, but I’m a songwriter, not a recording artist. This is an artist who is unique enough that he doesn’t remind me of someone else. Okay, must I try? How about Dan Fogelberg or Michael Martin Murphy but with some grit?

Constructive Comments: For an artist like this, I’d say he knows just what he’s doing. No suggestions here. Don’t need to mess with it anymore.

Positive Comments: Immediately pleasing. The downbeat melody is unique and catchy enough to be a single. Lyrics are simple as disco lyrics are usually meant to be. Excellent studio recording and mixing. It’s the kind of song that would make me want to find a partner to do a slow dance with.

Constructive Comments: What would you think of a female voice in between the robotic voice every so often? Perhaps her singing, “Yeah, come on let’s do a slow dance.” It’s entirely up to you because that’s personal taste and you obviously know what you’re doing.
