Positive Comments: Liked the music and lead guitar .

Constructive Comments: The Vocals seem separate from the music. T think, the vocals need to be recorded cleaner and more out front. Maybe a different effect on the vocals.

Positive Comments: Interesting bouncy notes within a pleasant melody. I like the occasional guitar that sounds like New Order from their Power, Corruption & Lies album. Studio work is flawless. I could see an entire album with this sort of music doing well. This would be a nice album cut. It would be interesting to hear what this artist has that could released as a single.

Constructive Comments: Nothing needs to be improved on this. Very nice job!

Positive Comments: Starts off in the classic punk style with a “one, two, fuck you!,” and a sour fourth chord. I like it a lot! Very good pissy lyrics with an unlikely title. Simple melody that’s easy to follow with a driving beat. Vocals are clear with just the right amount of snottiness and snarkiness. This is just terrific punk! I usually look at things from a songwriter’s point of view. I’ve played this a few times. It’s just plain fun so I’ll just give you excellents across the board. I seldom do that but whatthehell!

Constructive Comments: It’s an unfair thing to come up with something in this section when I haven’t heard other songs from you. I would keep it up with the inventive imagery that peppers your lyrics here and there…that is, a different way of saying the common things everyone says, yet keeping it conversational.

Song: You’re The Best Of Me

Reviewer: Raquel Aleman

Positive Comments: This song absolutely has market potential. I can imagine this song playing during a major moment in a romantic comedy. It could for sure be on an easy listening radio station as well. The song leaves you in a good space. It’s a steady ride from start to finish. Nothing overpowering during the song. Something about it reminds me of Jack Johnson.

Constructive Comments: I like that the verses, chorus and bridge all flow into each other. I think that makes it great for movie soundtrack material or boutique radio. Maybe I’d do a sustain or make the break more of a break (before “the best of me”). Or could maybe change things up a little more during the bridge. Doesn’t have to be super dramatic, so as not to throw off the energy of the song, but something to get stuck in my head/help me recall the song down the road. Good song!

Positive Comments: Reminds me of Eric Clapton. Nice and simple, but it’s enough. Since there aren’t a ton of instruments, backups, etc. the changes in the song helped to keep my attention. Chill vibes, but still has some build. I like the movement in the chorus. The lyrics tell a story that’s easy to follow. Relatable subject matter.

Constructive Comments: Sounds like maybe a little bit of a hiss on the recording. Not a huge deal, most noticeable at the start and end. I think the song is good, I don’t know that it’s necessary, but there could maybe be more of a noticeable moment when the chorus kicks in. The first time I listened I wasn’t sure where the start of the chorus was. I can feel the change in the vocals at the start of the chorus. I can feel a change during the middle of the chorus both in vocals and guitar. The chorus wraps up nicely.

Positive Comments: Drum machine/guitar work out with a blues rock edge.

Constructive Comments: This may be the start of developing something else. I don’t know, but it’s definitely in need of finishing if there is a desire to get commercial. If not, that’s fine.
