Positive Comments: This song absolutely has market potential. I can imagine this song playing during a major moment in a romantic comedy. It could for sure be on an easy listening radio station as well. The song leaves you in a good space. It’s a steady ride from start to finish. Nothing overpowering during the song. Something about it reminds me of Jack Johnson.
Constructive Comments: I like that the verses, chorus and bridge all flow into each other. I think that makes it great for movie soundtrack material or boutique radio. Maybe I’d do a sustain or make the break more of a break (before “the best of me”). Or could maybe change things up a little more during the bridge. Doesn’t have to be super dramatic, so as not to throw off the energy of the song, but something to get stuck in my head/help me recall the song down the road. Good song!
